9 Day tour from Marrakech to imperial cities via Sahara Desert

Day 1: Marrakech “Arrival in Morocco”

On the first day of our 9 day Marrakech Desert Fes Casablanca tour, when you arrive in Marrakech, our driver will drop you off at the airport to your hotel, where we will spend a night there. there will also be an orientation tour of Jemaa EL Fnaa, an enjoyable and memorable experience seeing dancers, storytellers and snake charmers.

Day 2: Discover Marrakech “Guided Tour”

We will visit and learn more about the city of Marrakech on the second day of our 9 day Fez Casablanca desert tour. We will visit several interesting and beautiful places, a breathtaking swimming pool surrounded by flowers, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Mausoleum, the Dar Si Said Museum displaying Berber crafts, the Menara Gardens , etc. Lunch in a local restaurant, we will stroll through the colorful souks of Marrakech and the Jemaa El Fna square, dinner will be served in a beautiful restaurant.

Day 3: Marrakech / Aiben Haddou / Ouarzazate / Dades Gorges

Day 4: Dades Gorges / Tinghir / Merzouga

Day 5: Merzouga

Day 6: Merzouga / Midelt / Azrou / Ifran / Fez

Get up as early as possible and walk about 50 kilometers from Merzouga to enjoy the breathtaking view of the sun rising over the dunes of the Sahara. We will ride a camel to the hotel for a refreshing shower and breakfast and get ready to drive to Fez. Along the way, pass Rissani, the Ziz Valley, the apple capital of Midert for lunch, the Middle Atlas Mountains, the cedar forests, Ifran, a Moroccan-style winter ski resort built by the French in the 1930s, giving the impression of being a Swiss village and finally to Fez where we will spend the night.

Day 7: Explore Fez “Guide”

The seventh day of our 9 day desert tour from Marrakech, Fez Casablanca. We will explore and visit many interesting and wonderful places in the city of Fes. After having breakfast, we will visit the « Medina », famous for its narrow streets, fresh fruits, spices piles, sophisticated Berber Carpets and many other Morocco’s well-known arts, then several Mosques, such as Qaraouiyine Mosque, which is founded by Fatima El Fihria in 859, The Andalusian Mosque which date back to 860 and where is prohibited for Non-Muslim to enter, Fountains, like « Nejjarine », Madrasas ( Koranic schools founded in the beginning of 13th century), Batha Palace which is now a museum of Arts and Traditions, Chouwara Tanneries, The old Souk of Al Attarine , Bab Boujloud (blue and green Ceramics), Mellah, Ibn Danan Synagogue which date back to the 17 th century, and the King Palace. Dinner will be at a stunning restaurant.

Day 8:Fez / Volubilis / Meknes / Rabat / Casablanca

We will drive by The 2000-year-old Roman ruins « Volubilis », and the monumental walls of Meknes, dating back to the 17th century « Berdaine Bab », and « Bab Khemis », then the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud, while stopping at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail which was for a long time the only mosque in Morocco that allow non-Muslims to enter it , also the famous « Bab El Mansour » on the vast Hedim square, and the Moroccan Art Museum “Dar Jamai”( offers a wide variety of handicrafts). Lunch will be at Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, where we will observe the sea, Yaakoub El Mansour crenelated red ocher walls,The medina and its souks,, The Oudayas Kasbah, built in the 12th century, Hassan II tower, with 4 facades,three in shades of pink and one in the gray, the left of the old mosque and the Mohamed V mausoleum.We will stay the night at Casablanca.

Day 9: Casablanca “depart Morocco”

Depending on the time of the flight departure, our driver will drive you directly toward the Airport, as an end to our 9 Days Marrakech Desert Fez Casablanca tour.
