10 Days Tour From Casablanca To Desert Via Chefchaouen

Day 1: Full day exploring Casablanca

You will travel through the historical heritage of Morocco’s largest city on this tour. We will be able to explore some of the places in the city such as Hassan II, the largest mosque, the United Nations Palace and the Couscous “Corric Road” before returning to the hotel for the night.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT – ASILAH

The next morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, before reaching Asilah, you will see the Hassan tower and walk in the Kasbah of the Oudayas , most The route will follow the coast – where you will have the opportunity to explore the city. Asilah is famous for its annual art festival and most of the walls in the medina are painted by various famous artists from around the world. Your tour includes La Scala fortress, where you will experience the beauty of the medina and the sea. Overnight at our hotel/riad.

Day 3: Asilah – Tangier – Chefchaouen

The next morning, after breakfast, we continue to the beautiful city of Chefchaouen, the fortress of the Rif mountains and the most beautiful small town in Morocco. Along the way, you will pass through the city of Tangier to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes of northern Morocco, where we will visit the beautiful beach of Achakar and the famous cave of Hercules, then continue through the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen, where we will visit in the afternoon This beautiful city is a must visit to discover the real beauty of this hidden city in the Rif mountains, like Outa Hamam square, it is a beautiful medina. Night in a hostel in Fuchaouen.

DAY 4: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES

After breakfast, we head to Volubilis to explore the ruins of the Roman city. You will visit the holy city of Moulay Idriss, a place of pilgrimage for all Moroccans. Then you will continue to Meknes where you will explore the medina of Meknes with its beautiful tomb of Moulay Ismail, Granary and Sahrij Souani used for irrigation and plantations, Lehdim square and Bab al Mansour gate. You will have the opportunity to explore the souks and relax in one of the Square cafes. Then we continue to Fez. Accommodation in a traditional Riad including the guest room.

Day 5: Explore Fez with a local guide

After breakfast, you will have a local guide to discover the hidden gems of Fez and make you go deeper and deeper into the old medina of Fez, you will see the medina That and the famous souks of Fes – narrow cobbled streets filled with ancient mosques and imposing green-glazed minarets… You will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Fes. The tour will include visits to tanneries and ceramic cooperatives to see traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. Night in a riad, room and breakfast included.

Day 6: FES – IFRANE – MERZOUGA Sahara Desert.

After breakfast, we drive to “Moroccan Switzerland” Ifrane and Azrou via the Middle Atlas mountains “Tizi n t’lghamt pass”. During the trip, we will stop at many places to take photos and have lunch in Midert, then we will continue to visit the Ziz Valley, the city of Errachidia, Erfoud, after reaching the heart of the Sahara desert in Morocco, Merzouga there you have a little rest and then get on your camel, go deep into the desert. During our camel trek, we will see the sunset between the dunes. Delicious dinner at Sahara camp, we enjoyed the evening in our desert tents, under clear skies and stars, Berber drums.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch perhaps the best sunrise of your life. After sunrise and breakfast, you will return to your hotel in Merzouga, where you will meet your driver. You will then head to Rissani where we will visit the market of Rissani, a traditional town which was the cradle of the ruling family of Morocco and a meeting place for caravans trading to Timbuktu, Mali. Here you will see many hooded men and veiled women as you continue towards the Todra Gorge – the highest and narrowest canyon in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the canyon, we cross the Dades Valley where you will see majestic sandcastles and amazing rock formations called “monkeys”. Accommodation for the night will be in a luxury hotel overlooking the Dades Valley.

Day 8: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – AIT BEN HADDOU – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech.

After breakfast at the hotel, start the day by visiting the magnificent rock formations of the dades canyon. Then drive along Rose Valley to Kalaa M’gouna and Skoura, arrive in Oarzazate known as African Hollywood and stop at Atlas Cinema Studio. Then head to the “Kasbah Ait Benhaddou”, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. Ait Benhaddou Kasbah is one of the natural settings of many movies like “Alexander, Gladiator, Tower of Babel…” and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will drive to the red city of Marrakech, arriving in Marrakech via the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m above sea level) and dropping you off at your accommodation.

Day 9: Full day tour of Marrakech with a local guide.

We will visit the most important cultural and historical heritage. You will have the opportunity to explore

the Saadine Tomb, the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque (Tower). Day 10: Marrakech – Airport.
