Day 1: MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE
Pick up at the Marrakech hotel at 9:00 in the morning to leave towards the High Atlas, we will cross the Tichka pass (2,260m), and we will turn towards the OUNILA Valley, to visit the Kasbah of TELOUET. Food and rest. We will continue the road to OUARZAZATE visiting the Kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU, where the well-known Asterix & Obelix and Gladiator movies were filmed, among others. Accommodation in Hotel or Riad.
Day 2: OUARZAZATE – DADES – TODRA GORGES
In the morning we will calmly follow the road to the Valley of the palm grove of SKOURA, and the Valley of ROSAS, also crossing the beautiful Valley of DADES and making stops at panoramic views to take photos. We will continue our way to the South until we reach the TODRA Valley. We will arrive at the Hotel or Riad and we will rest and then make a return of approximately 1 hour through the Valley. Accommodation in Hotel or Riad.
Day 3: TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA
In the morning we will see the well-known Gorges of TODRA and we will continue our route quietly towards ERFOUD, known for its fossils. Stop to visit one of the factories. Then we will continue through the Ziz Valley until we reach MERZOUGA. Free afternoon to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the desert. Hotel accommodation.
Day 4: MERZOUGA – ERG CHEBBI – MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we will take a tour of the dunes of MERZOUGA, passing through nomadic lands, the town of KHAMLIA (town of the blacks), the mines of MIFISS, the desert plateaus, we will have tea with the Berber nomads and we will see the oasis TISSARDMINE . We will return to the inn around noon. In the afternoon we will ride dromedaries, and we will go to the dunes to watch the sunset. We will sleep in a wild oasis located almost two hours away, in the middle of the desert. Night under a haima. Dinner and accommodation in Khaima.
Day 5: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – NKOB – ZAGORA
After returning to MERZOUGA on dromedaries, showering and having breakfast, we will go to the first city of the region, RISSANI, we will visit its well-known market and then we will deviate along the oasis road, making stops to take photos and have tea. We will arrive later at ZAGORA. Night in Hotel. Dinner and accommodation in Hotel.
Day 6: ZAGORA – MARRAKECH
After breakfast we will leave Zagora behind and we will cross the Valley of the Thousand Palm Groves of the DRAA with its typical Berber villages, panoramic stops to take photos, we will pass through the town of AGDEZ, and we will cross the Anti Atlas mountain to return back to the City Red. We will arrive in MARRAKECH in the afternoon.
