► Tour 6 days from Tangier to the desert
Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen:
Tangier to the desert after your arrival at the port of Tangier, we will pick you up and take a tour of the city before traveling to the interior of the small fortress city of Chefchaouen, which is one of the strongest tourist spots in the country and is characterized by its construction with all the houses painted blue and white. We will spend the night in this city.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Midelt:
Today we will continue our trip to the cultural and religious capital of the country, the oldest imperial city of Morocco, Fez. We will travel through the city seeing the sights before leaving for Ifran and enjoying the large cedar forests on the way to Midelt where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Midelt – Merzouga:
Today we will travel through the northern Atlas Mountains, passing through the magnificent Ziz River Valley, where we will make frequent stops to observe the beautiful panorama of mountains, valleys, river scenes, the Ziz Gorge and its oasis.
We will also pass through the city of Errachidia before heading east towards the Sahara desert city of Merzouga. We will spend the night in a hotel in front of the great orange dunes of Erg Chebbi, where we can venture out and explore the smaller dunes.
Day 4: Merzouga – Desert:
After having a delicious breakfast and a shower at the hotel, we will go on a trip around the Erg Chebbi. There we will visit a house and listen to a small concert of Gnawa music originating from Ghana and Sudan. We will also visit some abandoned mines, nomadic Berbers and oasis of palm trees.
At lunch time we will return to Merzouga, where we will have lunch and relax a bit. Then we will ride camels, on an adventure through the sand dunes on our way to the heart of the desert. We will spend the night in a camp equipped with drum music in the middle of the Sahara. This is a great opportunity for photography lovers to capture beautiful sunset and sunrise images. When we arrive at the camp we will go to the highest dunes to watch the sunset. Dinner and night in Haimas.
Day 5: Merzouga – Fes:
In the morning we will witness an incredible sunrise over the desert dunes. Then we will return by camels to the hotel, where we will have our breakfast. Then we will start our journey back to arrive in Fez at night, where we will enjoy a lot after this long trip back from the desert.
Day 6 : Fez – Tangier :
Breakfast and departure towards Tangier. Once in Tangier we will transfer you to your hotel or to the port of Tangier, thus ending our services. Thank you very much, end of tangier to the desert.
