Day 1. Fes.
Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will be waiting for you, ready to transfer you to the hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, it may be possible to make a first contact with the city. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
Day 2. Fez – Guided tour of the entire city and the Medina of Fez.
After breakfast we will visit the old town of Fez and its medina, the large and famous piñata throughout the Arab world, Bab Boujloud and Dar Batha. Then we will continue with the visit of Bou Inania, the madrasas and the Koranic school of Fez, where the young people study the Koran between the rooms. The tour continues to the Suke Chouara tannery, where we will discover the fascinating process of leather processing, from the first cleaning of the hairs to the dyeing of the color with natural materials. We will then go on to visit the Qaraouine Mosque, founded in the 9th century by a woman. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
Day 3. Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga.
After breakfast we will leave for Merzouga. We will pass through several towns such as Ifran, called the Moroccan Swiss, and then Azrou, known for its cedar forests. We will make some stops to see the monkeys in freedom, then we will continue towards the desert passing through the Ziz valley with its palm groves, and continuing towards Merzouga. Finally we will arrive at the foot of the beautiful dunes of Erg chebbi. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 4. Merzourga – Erg Chebbi – Merzourga.
After breakfast we will go around the dunes of erg chebbi. We will see the two oases of Merzouga, the nomadic lands, we will stop at Haimas of nomads in the middle of the desert to discover their lifestyle, and we will return to the hotel around noon. In the afternoon we will depart on a one and a half hour tour on dromedaries to an oasis located in the middle of the dunes. Dinner and accommodation in the Haima (Well equipped nomadic tents, sleeping bags are not needed).
Day 5. Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Fez.
After breakfast we will leave for Rissani, origin of the Alaoui dynasty and transit center for caravans between Morocco, which has one of the most attractive markets in Africa. Then we will continue the route to the cultural and religious capital Fez, where we will arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
Day 6. Fes. At the agreed time transfer to the airport and end of our services.
