3 DAYS OF THE DESERT TRIP

Day1: Fes – Midelt – Atlas – Gorges of Todra

first day  of 3 days desert trip : After breakfast we will leave from Fes towards the impressive Gorges of the Todra, passing through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are climbing the trees to which you can take pictures.

Then we will stop at Zaida for lunch before getting our way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the incredible landscapes of Midelt.

This road will take us to a small town of Rich, where we will turn right to go through the famous city of Imilchil and reach the beautiful Gorges of Toudra; whose walls narrow and rise increasingly abrupt to reach 300 meters in height. Dinner and night in a hotel.

Day2: Todra Gorges – Merzouga – Camel ride – Night in the desert

second day  of 3 days desert trip :  After breakfast, we will head to Merzouga where the orange dunes form another totally different world, far from civilization and its noise. On the way we will pass through several Berber towns such as Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud where we will begin to feel with the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet.

Then we will follow the route to Merzouga, after check-in at the hotel in Merzouga we will travel by camels in the direction of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where we will experience the greatest experience of riding on camels in the desert with its silence and tranquility. dunes.

Finally we will go to the camp where we will leave the camels and walk towards a high dune to watch the sunset, which will be an authentic event. After this we will return to the camp, have dinner and spend the night there in the Berber tent (Haimas well equipped).

Day3: Merzouga – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Medilt – Fes

It is worth getting up early to enjoy a magical sunrise among the dunes. After this unforgettable landscape we will ride on dromedaries to return to the hotel in Merzouga, where we will have the best breakfast. Then we will start our way back to Fez leaving behind the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
