10 DAYS CASABLANCA AND THE DESERT
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat
As soon as you arrive at the Casablanca airport you will be welcomed and will be taken to your hotel in Rabat where you will arrive and relax in the afternoon. Depending on the weather, you could choose to have a visit that included the Medina (Old Medina), where you will find the stone and whitewashed buildings, dark wood studded doors, the Great Mosque, completely rebuilt in the 19th century; The Hassan tower, which dominates the horizon with its intricate quarrying; The Mausoleum of Mohamed V that houses the Onyx tomb of the late king; And the walls of Mechouar that surrounds the royal palace. After that wonderful visit to Rabat we will move to your hotel for dinner and spend the night.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Fez
On the second day we will leave Rabat and visit Meknes the Imperial City of Sultan Mulay Ismail. We will discover its Medina and Bab El Mansour, the monumental entrance door and the main entrance to this 17th Century city. Later we will go to the famous Volubilis the beautiful archeological site in Morocco, with its mosaics, temples and triumphal arch. We will continue our way to Moulay iDress a small mountain town that took the name of the founder of the first indigenous Islamic Kingdom of Morocco. The last address we’ll visit will be Fez where we’ll spend the night.
Day 3: Fes
After eating a good Moroccan breakfast at your hotel, you will begin our journey on your third day to discover the oldest city in Morocco and the considered spiritual and cultural capital.
We will walk through its small streets, visit the Royal Palace of the door, the Jewish headquarters, the first Mellah built in the 16th century, the oldest University of Al Qaraouine, the tanneries, the Attarine Museum and the Mausoleum of Muley Idriss and the colorful tiles Nejjarine Trevi. Finally, explore the souks (markets) of Fez, the most fascinating of all Morocco. Dinner and evening will be spent at the hotel.
Day 4: Fes
The magnificent Fes is considered a spiritual and cultural capital of the country. It is an ancient city and is part of the Emperiales cities. In addition, it continues to reserve a peculiar lifestyle and mixes the modern and the traditional. It is worth walking through every alley-whether narrow or wide-from your old Medina. It should be noted that the oldest university in the world is located in the bosom of Fes.
Day 5: Fes – Midelt – Errachidia – Merzouga
After good breakfast at the hotel you are staying in. We headed for Merzouga on that fifth day of travel. Then we will pass by the high Atlas, Midelt and Erfoud. In all that way you will notice how beautiful it is in Moroccan, enjoy the beautiful nature and landscapes. We arrive in the afternoon to our address: Merzouga. Spend the night in the middle of the desert, enjoying the Berber music and having an unforgettable night under the thousands of stars and beautify the desert sky.
Day 6: Merzouga-Tinghir – Boumalne – Ouarzazate
We are already in the desert enjoying the magic of the dunes so it would be perfect to wake up early to attend the beautiful sunrise in the dunes of Merzouga. Then we get back to the hotel on dromedaries for breakfast and shower.
Once you have rested, we will split via Erfoud, Tineghir to see the spectacular pink Gorge of Todra, Kelaat M’Gouna and Boumalne. In the afternoon we arrive Ouarzazate, gateway to the Sahara and the beautiful cinematographic city where we will dine and stay.
Day 7: Ouarzazate – Marrakech
On the seventh day we will make a special visit to Ouarzazate, to the Kasbah of Tifoultoute, to the handicraft school, with its stone sculptures, ceramics, rugs and silver jewellery on display. Later we will follow the conduct towards your hotel in Marrakech. On that route we will stop at Ait Ben Haddou, a picturesque Kasbah (fortified fortress), appearing as a sand castle in the middle of a field of almond trees and the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 8: Marrakech
The eighth day on that travel route will be devoted entirely to a special visit to Marrakech. This will begin after the Riad is disgruntled. Marrakech is perhaps the most well-known city in the world when it comes to Morocco. Perhaps that is why it is the tourist city par excellence as it mixes Berber traditions with the Arab renaissance and Western influences. Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech
On the ninth day on that tour we will leave Marrakech behind and depart via Essaouira. The main entrance to the port called the Marine is considered an architectural marvel and has been built in 1184. Relax and let the tremendous beauty of the place captivate you. Later we returned to Marrakech for dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca
This will be the last day in that adventure, so we tocca to start the trip back to Csablanca to connect with their flights. We hope you have lived a very special experience and you have had the best memories and memories of Morocco.
